Two more patients tested positive for H1N1 virus in the city today, taking the total number of swine flu cases in the district to 304, Health officials said.
People continued to turn up in large numbers for testing at screening centres setup in various hospitals, they said.
A total of 27,308 people came for swine flu testing at screening centres in the district during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of people screened so far to 1,53,038, the officials said.
Meanwhile, a suspected swine flu patient was kept on ventilation in a private hospital here, designated to treat H1N1 patients.
A total 61 fresh suspected flu patients were admitted to the hospitals, they said, adding 1,344 patients with minor flu symptoms were given Tamiflu tablets and were asked to take precautions to avoid the virus, they added.
